Our “Planet” rating evaluates brands based on the environmental policies in their supply chains, from carbon emissions to wastewater, ingredients' impacts, product circularity, and more. Here we rate Antipodes “It's a Start”. These are a few factors influencing its score:

• It uses some lower-impact ingredients including upcycled and certified organic ingredients, however it does not publish an aggregate breakdown of ingredients used.
• Its product packaging is plastic-free.
• It manufactures its products closer to home to reduce the climate impact of long-distance shipping.
• There’s no evidence it’s taking meaningful action to reduce water use.
• It could be using palm oil, but it has not disclosed any information regarding responsible sourcing that mitigates environmental impacts.
