Our “Planet” rating evaluates brands based on the environmental policies in their supply chains, from carbon emissions to wastewater, ingredients' impacts, product circularity, and more. Here we rate BYBI “Not Good Enough”. These are a few factors influencing its score:

• It uses few lower-impact ingredients including upcycled ingredients, and it does not publish an aggregate breakdown of ingredients used.
• Its product packaging is recyclable.
• It manufactures its products closer to home to reduce the climate impact of long-distance shipping.
• It could be using palm oil, but it has not disclosed any information regarding responsible sourcing that mitigates environmental impacts.

Workers’ rights are central to our “People” rating, which assesses brands’ policies and practices on everything from child labour to living wages and gender equality. Here we rate BYBI “Not Good Enough”. These are a few factors influencing its score:

• There’s no evidence it has a Code of Conduct.
