Our “Planet” rating evaluates brands based on the environmental policies in their supply chains, from carbon emissions to wastewater, ingredients' impacts, product circularity, and more. Here we rate DAMDAM “It's a Start”. These are a few factors influencing its score:

• It uses a medium proportion of lower-impact materials including organic, however it does not publish an aggregate breakdown of ingredients used.
• Its use of lower-impact materials minimises chemicals, water, and wastewater in production.
• Its product packaging is recyclable.
• It's a member of 1% for the Planet.
• It could be using palm oil, but it has not disclosed any information regarding responsible sourcing that mitigates environmental impacts.
