Guess's environment rating is 'not good enough' It uses few eco-friendly materials. It has set an intensity target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions generated from its own operations but it has not set a supply chain target. It has a policy approved by CanopyStyle to prevent deforestation of ancient and endangered forests in its supply chain. There is no evidence it minimises textile waste when manufacturing its products.

Its labour rating is 'not good enough'. None of its supply chain is certified by labour standards which ensure worker health and safety, living wages or other labour rights. It received a score of 31-40% in the Fashion Transparency Index. It likely publishes information about its supplier policies, audits and remediation processes.
