Our “Planet” rating evaluates brands based on the environmental policies in their supply chains, from carbon emissions to wastewater, ingredients' impacts, product circularity, and more. Here we rate KRAVE Beauty “It's a Start”. These are a few factors influencing its score:

• It uses some lower-impact ingredients including upcycled ingredients, but it does not publish an aggregate breakdown of ingredients used.
• It opts for sea freight shipping over air freight to reduce its climate impacts.
• It uses recycled packaging
• It publishes a policy to assess the biodegradability and environmental toxicity of some of its ingredients and formulas.
• It could be using palm oil, but it has not disclosed any information regarding responsible sourcing that mitigates environmental impacts.
