Our “Planet” rating evaluates brands based on the environmental policies in their supply chains, from carbon emissions to wastewater, ingredients' impacts, product circularity, and more. Here we rate Bior Organics “It's a Start”. These are a few factors influencing its score:

• It uses some lower-impact ingredients including certified organic, however it does not publish an aggregate breakdown of ingredients used.
• It manufactures its products closer to home to reduce the climate impact of long-distance shipping.
• There’s no evidence it’s taking meaningful action to reduce water use.
