Our “Planet” rating evaluates brands based on the environmental policies in their supply chains, from carbon emissions and wastewater to business models and product circularity. Here we rate Thesus “Good”. These are a few factors influencing its score:

  • It uses a medium proportion of lower-impact materials.
  • It uses lower-impact materials, but there’s no evidence it’s taking further action to reduce its energy use or greenhouse gas emissions.
  • It uses recycled packaging.
  • In all of its shoe production, it uses water-based glues, which can be safer for workers and the environment.
  • There’s no evidence it’s taking meaningful action to reduce water use.
